If you are coming from overseas, we would suggest aiming to arrive on Thursday 17th April - to allow yourself a day or two to recover from the journey. For those coming from closer afield, then Friday 18 April is good!

It will be hot - peaking in the low 30s every day. We are hopeful that there will be a breeze, particularly by late afternoon but light materials are recommended!

We recommend either reaching out to your hotel before arrival and get them to arrange a car for you, or simply use Grab to order a car from the airport to your destination. It will take approximately 40 minutes from Da Nang airport to Hoi An. If you are staying in Da Nang city or in one of the beach resorts nearby, then it should take no longer than 20 minutes. Grab fares from Da Nang airport to Hoi An will be around VND350,000-450,000. Taxis will be a little more expensive.

No and there are plenty of options catering for all styles and budgets around Hoi An and Da Nang - which is around 40 minutes away by car. However, we do hope many of you will choose to stay at Bel Marina and take advantage of the special rates for guests.

Bel Marina is a mere 5 minutes walk away from the centre of the Old Town and its cafes and restaurants. To go further afield, like An Bang beach, you can use bikes if you're feeling a bit adventurous! We also highly recommend guests to download the Grab app, which is Southeast Asia's version of Uber. It is cheap and convenient to use, with the added bonus of set prices - so no risk of paying tourist rates.
